Hubby woke up at 2am with Chest Pain but he said it was ok. He went to work and when he came back he couldn't use his left arm. It was hurting him so bad. I guess you know what i was thinking. I had to force him to go to the ER. Thanks God it was not his Heart. He has a tear in his Rotator Cuff. He came home with his arm in a sling, not very happy, saying 'Like my 100 Dollar Sling?'.( Our copay is 100 Dollar for the ER). I don't care better safe then to be sorry. We will find out how bad it is when he goes this week for a X-Ray. This week was not a good one. First i had to put my dog down and then i am thinking Hubby has a Heart Attack. Hope this week will be better.

Oh, hon! I'm just so glad that it wasn't something terrible. Still no fun being unable to use your arm!

So sorry for the no good, awful, terrible week!

Wow...happy ending. My goodness, you had a scare.

I think things will be looking up after that.

Oh, dear. **squish** Of the two alternatives, a rotator cuff tear is obviously the better, but not good news in its own right.

I hope the report from the x-ray is as good as possible.

I hope you have a better week as well. I think we all think the worst when someone has chest pain.

How very scary! I'm with you - I'd rather pay $100 to be safe. Besides a rotator cuff tear can be serious as well. Do as the doctor says so that it heals well - otherwise, he could end up having to have surgery.

I'm sorry about your dog. It's very painful.

I tore my rotator cuff in high school. Some girl on the swim team swam right into me, and literally dug out my shoulder. Very painful.

The high school trainer either put ice or heat, I don't remember all these years later, and a lot of stretches.

They told hubby if it is a bad tear he will need a operation.:(
