Like millions of Americans we life from paycheck to paycheck. I do not know how i did it but this month i messed my checkbook up big time. I am so angry with my self. I can pay almost all of my bills but i will have no money left for food. It is a good thing my freezer and my cabins are full with food. But the one thing i can not pay this month is my Car payment . I called the bank and i can pay more on the next two car payment but it will show up as late. I could cry over this. Years ago my daughter ended up in the ICU and we had no insurance for here at this time. We got hit with over 20000.00 Dollar in hospital bill's. It ended all up in the collection agency. It took us years to pay them of and then a few more years to clean our credit report up to good standing. And here i mess up like that. Going back in my corner to feel disappointed at myself.:(

Oh I'm so sorry about this. Yes, times are tough indeed. It we don' watch the smallest amount, you can slip in to trouble. Hope you'll be OK. Thankfully you're better off then you were years before when you daughter got sick.

Dont be. Its hard time for lots right now and they should know that. I was late on a few payments and they, several places, will put you oin whats called a "Hardship" payment thing. I went on that. They also will be nicer (usualy) when you actualy call them and tell them your having truble couse that way your not ignoring them.

If that makes sence.

*Hugs you tight*

I know i am not the only one but it just made me up sad. But i am fine today."hugs"

Hey, sweetie - most banks offer what they call a skip-a-payment. Check and see if you can get one of those.

**hugs**

I only can do this every half year and i did already skip-a-payment when my son had to go to the doc. But i will be fine next month."hugs"

Its rough. I did something similar this month. Forgot to make a transfer, so I ended up with over $100 in bounced check fees. I feel like a dork. So you aren't alone!

Could you do a payday loan? I know they are not the greatest but we have done that when we didn't want to miss a payment and couldn't wait until the paycheck went through.

No payday loan for me. Got one for my Brother-in-law a few month ago (online)and something went wrong. My info got out and money got taken out of my bank account. Had to close it and got a new one. What a mess. I will be fine next month."hugs"

It's not hard to mess up your checkbook. I've done it myself. Try not to be so hard on yourself...ok? :)

feeling better about it today. Will be fine next month.:)

Don't be hard on yourself - occasionally these things happen no matter how careful one is. My experience is that as long as you contact the banks etc they are ready to accept late payment rather than receiving none at all. I do not know about where you live but in the UK if the payment is made when promised it does not affect the credit standing.

I called them and it is fine to pay it back in two month time but it will still show up in the credit report."hugs"

It was an honest mistake...and happens to everyone at least once! Your good track record until now is probably the very thing that made them willing to work with you. If they offer a deferred payment plan, you may want to consider it. All it does is take your current payment and move it to the end. They get their money, you get a break. With the economy the way it is, they're willing to be more flexible, it seems. *hugs*

I can take a deferred payment every 6 month but i just took one 4 month ago because my son had to go to the doc and he has no medical. He is to old to be on our insurance. But i will be fine next month."hugs"

I think we have all stuffed up our cheque book at one time or another, I know I did a few years back. It was not long after I first moved out of home into my first place and my rent cheque bounced because of my mistake, I felt like an idiot. But mistakes happen.

Don't beat yourself up about it too much. *hugs*

Happens to everyone occasionally, love. Been there. It feels horrible, but things sort themselves out eventually.

Don't feel too worried sweetie, this kind of thing happens to everyone. I'm glad you caught it in time.

I know how that is. It is really hard to make ends meet. *huggles you lots*

From: [identity profile] phyncke.livejournal.com

I am counting my pennies til pay day which seems very far away. So I know how you feel. *hugs*

You poor dear, don't worry! *huggles!!!* I totally understand how you feel! I tend to not open my bills and ignore my mail. I am lucky that I went to the mailbox finally this week because I have to serve my first jury duty on Monday. I can't even talk to you about my bills. Too stressing. I just need to live in my happy ignorance for as long as I can. But I can tell you that this year, I finally filed my taxes for the last 3 years. My mom passed away in 2007 and I got myself in a mess by not caring, but now I am dealing with it bit by bit. *Phew!* I hope everything settles down and all goes well! I know that your bank appreciates it more that you contacted them and let them know what was going on instead of not! *kasnuggles!!*

Things are all ready getting better and i am so sorry about your Mom."hugs'
