Had a Husky jumping into my yard today. Two of my dogs where not very happy. He had a tag but the Tel.# didn't work. He was very friendly and knew a few tricks. My daughter was sitting outside with the dog for hours hoping the owner would walk, by looking for him. When Hubby came home we drove around for a hour asking people if they knew the dog. No such luck. Had to bring him to a Animal Shelter and i hated doing this. I just hope the owners will find him or he will be adopted out. I would have kept him but i already have three dogs.He is so pretty and well trained so i hope he finds a new home. I hate taking animals to a shelter because you don't know if they will be put to sleep or not.:(

He's so sweet and beautiful--- I'd bet money he'll get adopted if his owners don't claim him. Don't worry, Bettina... it's the not so pretty and unruly dogs that have trouble finding homes and he doesn't look or sound like that.

I know what you mean, though... when we had to take Buddy cat to the shelter I felt just awful. But 4 cats would have been too many for us. The shelter workers assured us that he would most likely find a home, as cute & cuddly as he was... <3

Sometimes America just baffles me. An animal would never be put to sleep for such a reason here in Germany. The worst fate it has to fear when going to a shelter is having to stay there until it dies of old age. It seems such a useless thing to kill them.

It's such a beautiful dog! And I love huskies. If I lived a lot closer, and had a big enough appartement... XD

What a beautiful and friendly looking dog! Hopefully it was microchipped with the owners information so they could be contacted. I'm sure the dog will be just fine in any event. I love that last picture of your three jealous babies in the window wanting to know more! LOL!
