I'm sorry, but your roommate isn't much of a friend if he says things like that - and he's not being very Christian, either.
People should be judged by what they do, and how they live their lives - not by how many times they go to church, or how often they read the Bible.
One thing I'm certain of - there is a place in Heaven for everyone who God feels is worthy, and He won't judge on things like who goes to church most.
Try not to let this get to you. You're a good person, and deserve better.
