At Denvers Dia you will find Blueficer (also called Satan's Steed, and Blue Devil Horse) a 30-foot tall blue Mustang with glowing red eyes. The reason they call him Blueficer is because the artist died in 2006 when a large piece of 'Mustang' fell on him in his studio.

Now Bluecifers has a new Buddy. ANUBIS God of the Death. An Egyptian statue that symbolizes the God of Death and the afterlife...sitting at an airport where people are arriving as well as departing...Hmmmm? Most People don't like flying to begin with. It's kind of weird, especially being at an airport. "Bad voodoo." I don't know about you but if i would see him on a airport watching me, i would be out of there.

I think it's so neat they did that. Anubus (one of my cats was named that) is my favorite deity. That statue fascinates me. I don't have an icon of him. I would love to find one....

EDIT: Anubus is not the bad guy. Set is the one and is bad news. I can understand them not putting him up!

Yeah, well, Denver already has a reputation for being a weird-ass airport. Google it... from the murals of dead babies to the swastika shaped runways? We had to fly through there once -- never again! Anubis is the LEAST creepy thing about that airport!

Okay, I'm hoping that sometime in my life, I get to fly into Denver's airport because these statues are very cool!

Wow!!! These are both really awesome!!!! I get their idea of mass advertisement being placed there, but yeah, use some common sense!! LMAO!!!!! XDDDDDDDDDDDD No wonder people are so afraid to fly! XD

It is odd to have Anubis at an airport.

I would still fly - I like to throw caution to the winds occasionally!

I saw the horse when I was flying out of DIA last month and thought it was very odd...and now Anubis??? LOL! Weird.

Heh. Well, in order to get anywhere from my little town, we have to go through DIA. The Anubis statue was the top story on the denver news stations for about a week. Those greenies sure love their weird ass airport!

(And around here, we call Coloradons (Coloradans?) greenies because their license plates used to be green with white lettering)

Whoa! That horse is AMAZING! O.O I'd love to see that in person.

Had to google the thing about the swastika shaped runways. Never knew that.:)

I would run seeing Anubis. But the horse looks cool at night.:)

I am scared of flying. So seeing him would most likley give me a panic attack:)

We didn't know any of it when we fly in -- just that it 'felt creepy'. It wasn't until months later that we heard something mentioned on one of those TV shows that mentions conspiracy theories and stuff and Denver Airport got a nod, so I had to google it. Creepy, creepy place...
